saaaaave the earth, do this!

the world seems to be on this whole go green, get environmentally friendly kick. which isn't a bad thing. its just annoying to hear people talk about things like they really care when they actually never gave a damn. I personally recycle at my house, I'm actually the only one who actually takes it seriously, but now that our neighborhood has gotten these blue garbage bins to put all of our recyclables in, i really don't see the point in not recycling.
I've always been a fan of nature and thought we should work to preserve it, i mean theres so many beautiful things in the world, and its sad that people might not be able to witness them in the future, just because we are so careless with the way we live.

invisible

yeah i think we went over the whole invisible thing already...
i dont mind being invisible sometimes, i mean i kind of do it to myself so i can't really complain,
but its not always as a result of my actions. sometimes im just ignored, but thats life, and you have to find a way to make it work for you, or change it, like the man in Invisible Man and all his lightbulbs.
There are times when i would much rather be invisible, like when im in trouble.haha.

a book to read

i really enjoyed the books by Irvine Welsh, he has a bunch of books that are basically in a series, but you dont have to read them in "order" but they go together, there all themed about drug abuse and all that good stuff. Once you get past the weird terms in the book, its really good. It used a lot of words that refer to slang terms in the british language, but theres a handy dandy dictionary in the back of the book for these slang terms.

movie review

Lord of War.
i really liked this movie. it's an interesting portral of what really goes on in the world. Most of us don't even know whats happening in the next state, let alone what goes on the other side of the globe. The topic of guns and war is one that always has many strong opinions and its hard to look at the topic unbiasedly.

waaaatch it.

art review

art has been something i've had a passion for since i was a little kid.
there are many artists that i like and many types of art that i like ,
i think its hard to determine what is art and what isn't, because once we have rules on what is art and what isn't it becomes too limiting.
I think a lot of art now and days though doesn't have the same amount of thought put into it, its more of a scam in a way to just make something really fast and get money and fame.like terri from exit through the gift shop.

I really like banksy's art. I like the fact that he remains anonymous. and that the art is made solely for the purpose of art.to be looked at and thought about. i like his street art also because its not necessarily just mindless street graffiti, i mean, somethings are cool to look at but you dont actually know what it means or anything.

i enjoy street art.

we have rights

but most of us don't take advantage of them,
Our rights are very limited, or more so rights written on paper but the government can actually choose how things will play out. Big Brother is always watching.
It comparison to other countries, we have so many more advantages and rights, but we are so unappreciative.
even i am. i mean i wish i wasn't.but i wasn't.

It seems that people in america, spend more time looking how to limit our own rights, whether they be limiting gay rights, women's rights, rights concerning abortion, racial rights, etc.
we should be spending more time trying to get equal rights for everyone and expand more rights for the people and have the people have more power.
